Privacy Policy

1) Who we are

In these Terms, "we", "us", "our" refers to Ray Brown Coaching and associated entities used to deliver services (including The Browns Trust as referenced in our Privacy Policy). "You", "your", "client" refers to the person purchasing or participating.

2) Services Covered

These Terms apply to all offers, including (without limitation):

  • 1:1 coaching / mentorship (including 12–52 week programs)

  • Group coaching / mentorship cohorts

  • EMPWR Men's Workshops and other live workshops

  • Retreats and private events (including multi-day experiences such as AWAKEN retreats)

  • Corporate workshops / team sessions

  • Digital products, audio programs, and downloadable resources

  • Any free sessions, calls, or community access where stated

3) Nature of services (not medical care)

Coaching, mentoring, workshops and retreats are educational and personal development services. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other professional health services. You are responsible for your own decisions, actions and results.

4) Eligibility & participant responsibility

  • You confirm you are able to participate safely and you will seek professional advice where needed.

  • You must provide accurate information (including contact details) and disclose relevant health or safety considerations.

  • You agree to follow instructions, venue rules, and safety directions during sessions and events.

5) Bookings, payments & invoices

  • A booking is confirmed once payment (or the first instalment) is received and we confirm acceptance.

  • Prices are in AUD unless stated otherwise. Any payment plan must be paid on time.

  • If a payment fails or is late, we may pause or revoke access to services until the account is brought up to date.

  • Payment plan commitment: If you are paying through a payment plan, you are responsible for completing each payment regardless of whether you leave the program early or do not complete it within the timeframe provided.

6) No refund policy

  • All purchases are final. All sales are final. There are no refunds.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, early withdrawal, dissatisfaction, or perceived lack of results.

  • Where Australian Consumer Law (ACL) provides a non-excludable guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy for a major failure. Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the ACL.

7) Rescheduling, cancellations & transfers


1:1 sessions
If you need to reschedule a 1:1 session, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be treated as a session delivered.

Workshops / events (including EMPWR Workshops)
**Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be rescheduled to a future event.** If you are unable to attend, your ticket is forfeited. No exceptions.

Retreats
Retreat deposits (if applicable) secure your place and are non-refundable. Retreat bookings are non-transferable and cannot be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend, your payment is forfeited.

8) Our right to reschedule or cancel


We may reschedule sessions or events due to illness, venue issues, safety concerns, low attendance, or circumstances outside our control.

If we cancel an event and you are entitled to a remedy, we will communicate the options available
(for example, a transfer to a new date or credit towards a future event).

9) Confidentiality

We treat your personal information and what you share with respect and discretion. You agree to keep other participants' personal stories confidential and not record, share, or distribute private discussions without permission.

10) Community Standards & Conduct

  • Respect, confidentiality, and personal responsibility are required.

  • No harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or unsafe behaviour.

  • We may remove a participant (without refund) if behaviour undermines safety, culture, or standards.

11) Intellectual Property

All materials, frameworks, recordings, and content we provide are owned by us (or licensed to us). You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any part without written permission.

12) Recordings, photos & media

We may take photos, audio, or video during events for training and marketing. If you do not want to appear in media, you must notify us in writing before the event.

You must not record sessions or events without our written consent.

13) Results disclaimer

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or earnings.You recognise and agree that Ray Brown Coaching has not made any implications, warranties, promises, suggestions, projections, representations, or guarantees whatsoever to you about future results or earnings.

Results depend on many factors including your background, experience, motivation, effort, consistency, and circumstances. We may reference our own results or the results of previous clients for illustrative purposes only. These are not typical or average results and are not guarantees of what you will achieve.

14) Testimonials Disclaimer

Testimonials and client stories presented on our website, social media, or marketing materials are of actual clients and are shared for illustrative purposes only. They are not intended to represent or guarantee that current or future clients will achieve the same or similar results.

15) Liability & assumption of risk

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. You participate at your own risk, including for physical activities (e.g., breathwork, movement, cold/heat exposure, board breaking) where applicable.

16) Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. You can read it on the Privacy Policy page.

17) Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
